The NGAM Scholarship Program supports academic excellence by offering scholarship funding to deserving individuals for their educational expenses. The scholarships are valid for one year and can be used to attend any accredited college, university, or vocational school.

Eligibility

Maryland National Guard members or guard member sponsor must be a current member of either the National Guard Association of Maryland (NGAM) or Maryland Enlisted Association of the United States.

Maryland National Guard members or dependents in a full-time or part-time student status, can get up to $1,000 scholarship for tuition, fees, and books for one academic year.

A scholarship recipient may receive the award in the following years, but they need to compete for it again as if they were a new applicant.
